Thanks to their victory in Shanghai, Anthony Avella (Fra) and Mathilde Monneron (Fra) won their second World Champion title in a row, finishing their season perfectly. Flavien Du Peloux (Fra), who was 4th in 2013, could improve his results with a very constant season and finished on the second step of the final ranking, in front on Antony Pottier (Bel) who couldn't fight in the finals as he injured during the trainings runs, it was still a very good season for him, with 2 victories.
Jessica Billard (Fra) confirmed her second place of 2013 ; she improved her speed this year but couldn't beat M.Monneron. I.Davydova (Rus) took the 3rd place this year, and could become the main rival of the world champion next year if she can taka part in more races and get more experience. A.Avella (Fra) won the last step of the 2014 World Skate Cross Series, held in the SMP skatepark, in Shanghai, China. He was the fastest on the very fast, high and challenging track going around the SMP. Starting in second position behind F.Du Peloux (Fra), he could manage to pass him after the drop in the medium bowl, and kept his position until the finish line. Sim WanSu (Kor) and I.Sukhenko (Rus), fell on the first obstacle and couldn't come back on the 2 other skaters, finishing 3rd and 4th respectively. Check the full results here.
M.Monneron (Fra), won the final race of the season, her 5th victory this year. Her main rival on this race, I.Davydova (Rus), not far in the time trials, did a bad start in the final and couldn't come back on the 2 first skaters, finishing at the 3rd place. J.Billard (Fra) did a good race and took the second place. Italian F.Conzi, finished at the 4th place and couldn't fight against the 3 best women of the season. Check the full results here

Anthony Avella (Fra) won the 11th step of the World Skate Cross Series, held in Lyon, France. 2nd best time in the time trials behind russian I.Sukhenko, he won all his races until the final. Thanks to this victory, A.Avella takes back the lead of the World Ranking from A.Pottier, only 7th place in Lyon. Mathilde Monneron (Fra), after winning in Quebec and Lausanne, won her third main event of the season, confirming her strong leadership this year. She is one race from a second world champion title in a row, and she just need to be in the top 6 in the last step to get it. Only Jessica Billard (Fra), 4th in Lyon, can still get the title, but she must win the last race to get it. Ilya Sukhenko (Rus) won the Russian step of the World Skate Cross Series for the 3rd time in a row. This time Antony Pottier (Bel) was the only one in front of him after the time trials, beating the record of the track with 29,264 seconds. In the final, a contact between those two skaters turned in favor of I.Sukhenko, and the belgian lost his speed, couldn't catch the other skaters, finishing the race at the 4th place. Anthony Avella (Fra), kept the second position until the end, in front of Maxim Anin (Rus). The current world champion repeated his result of last year, and thanks to this second place, came back closer in the ranking from A.Pottier, still leader after 10 competitions. Irina Davydova (Rus), for her first race thi season, won the final of the women's WSX in Moscow, for the second time after her victory of 2012. The french leaders of the world
championships being absent this year, she is coming back on them, entering the ranking directly at the 10th place. Alexandra Sukhareva (Rus), took the second place of the final
race ; it is her second podium this season after her second place in WSX Marseille. On the 3rd place, Anna Mitrofanova (Rus) got her best result so far in a main skatecross
event. Anna Borovska (Ukr) took the 4th place, as 2013.

Harry Perna (Fra) won the 9th step of the World Skate Cross Series in Lausanne (Sui), in front of Anthony Avella (Fra) and Flavien du Peloux (Fra). H.Perna dominated the event from the beginning till the end, as he got the best qualification time and he won all his races until the final, it is his second victory in a WSX event after Lyon 2013, and his first victory in a Main event. A.Pottier (Bel), finished 4th but thanks to his previous results, took the lead of the 2014 WSX Championships in front of A.Avella. Check the full results here
Mathilde Monneron (Fra) was the fastest girl in the WSX Lausanne. She got the best time in the time trials, and won all her races to reach the first step of the podium. Aurore Costabile (Fra), couldn't catch her got the second place in front of Jessica Billard (Fra). Thanks to this victory, M.Monneron (Fra) took the lead of the WSX World Championships, and will be difficult to beat this season, as she already won the 2 first main events this year. "Les Darons" (A.Avella/K.Quintin) won the final of the team cross event against the "Kamikazes" (A.Ali Messaoud/S.Alfano). They are definitely the best team this year as they are still unbeated this season, wining all the races they took part so far.

Kevin Quintin (Fra) won the 8th step of the World Skate Cross Series in La Plagne, France. K.Quintin was also the fastest in the time trials, and won all his races to the final,
where he passed the finish line in front of Vincen Guichard (Fra) and Patrice Moller (Fra).
V.Guichard and P.Moller (Fra), won the team cross race in front of F.Quinger and K.Braun (Ger/Sui).
Aurore Costabile (Fra), got her second victory this season after Rennes, beating in the final L.Amand (Fra) and M.Monneron (Fra), respectively
2nd and 3rd.

Shaun Unwin (Can) got his first victory in a WSX event, passing the finish line in first position in front of Justin MacDonald (Can) and Antony Pottier
(Bel) who fell in the final, but could still reach the podium. The race track, designed in the Millenium skatepark, was offering many overtaking possibilities, and the races were very
spectacular. A.Pottier with this 3rd place, missed the opportunity to take the lead in the world championships, but will still go up to the 2nd place, behind A.Avella (Fra).

Antony Pottier (Bel) got his second victory of the season in Quebec ! With a time of 32,411 seconds in the first time trial, A.Pottier has been the fastest on a very challenging
track. A newcomer on the World Series, US' Chris Clancy, second best time, was just 0,05 sec. slower and the third best time has been made by french Flavien Du
Peloux, less than half a second behind the two leaders.
Unfortunately, because of the very bad weather conditions, and for safety reasons, the race's finals had to be cancelled, and so the time trials decided who won this first north american skate
cross event.
Mathilde Monneron (Fra), did the best time in the womens' category, in front of Lucie Amand (Fra) and Jessica Billard (Fra). Check the full results here.
